Verse of the Day: 2 Timothy 3:16 - His Word & Prayer

¹⁶ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

We know that God's word is truth. Let us begin to read His word thoroughly, We should ask for guidance when reading his word so that God will help us understand it.  Reading the bible should not be a rushed thing, take the time to pray first and read just like you would do when studying for an exam.  Let's pray that we not rush the reading of God's word but that we take time to understand it so that we may in turn teach other.

Dear Jesus

Thank you for your word of salvation.  We are grateful that you have given us the Bible so that we may seek out the truth.  Help us to read carefully & with understanding, help us to not rush your word and to seek you first prior to reading.  You have placed many wonderful words for us in the Bible and we thank you for that.  In Jesus Name, Amen
