Now there are a couple of things that stand out in these couple of Bible verses, spoken by Jesus. First is that He said the TRUE
worshipers will worship God in spirit and truth. What does this mean?
It means that there are also false worshipers who claim to be
Christians, but the way they live and "worship" shows that they are not
true followers of Christ. Again, the fact that Christ said that the TRUE
worshipers would worship in spirit and truth shows that there would be
false worshipers. The second is that He said we MUST worship
God in spirit and truth, which shows that any other form of worship is
unacceptable. So we need to look at how to worship God and what our
worship is like. Is it in accordance with God's Word in the Bible?
