Verse of the Day: Galatians 6:7-8

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”

Remember in all that you do and say that it be done unto God.  We work hard from day to day,  let us work diligently unto the Lord and not unto man.  Let us remember that we must also put in spiritual work.. praying, reading and studying God's word so that we can be saved in God's kingdom.  Let us pray for guidance, a diligent mind, and a heart full of love for God.

Thank you Dear Lord for your greatness.  We realize there is NONE like you! So Lord help us to serve only You, to love only You, and to work hard to please only You.  You are our strength so please give us the guidance & strength we need, to fight the battle in this human race and to come out victorious.  In Jesus Name, Amen

Verse of the day: Psalms 32:5

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Let's start off our morning confessing our sins to Jesus.  Really kneeling before him and asking for forgiveness. Let's ask for a clean slate in our lives starting from today.   Isn't it a blessing that we can even do that?  We get another chance to start brand new!

Dear Jesus
We thank you for allowing us to see a new day when others were not so fortunate.  Lord you are almighty and we ask today for your forgiveness of any wrong doing we have committed in the past.  Renew our strength and help us to start fresh in You. You are omnipotent Lord and we acknowledge your good works.  In Jesus name, Amen

Verse of the Day: John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Let us not forget the one who died for our sins.  Let us pray for God's blessings on us and overwhelming amounts of belief in Him and his plan for us.

Thank you Lord for sending your Son to die on the cross to save us from our sins.   Help us to believe in you 100%.  Help us to have no doubts about you.  Give us peace of mind, a pure heart and belief beyond measure. Thank you for your love & your blessings on us.  In Jesus name, Amen

⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Let us take comfort in knowing that God is right here with us through our good times and our bad times.  He will hear our cry if we just call on Him.  Let us pray for peace of mind, just in knowing that if we present our requests to Him He will hear and answer.

Dear Jesus thank you for hearing our cries and delivering us from our troubles.  Continue to keep us under your wings and help us to realize that we have the ability to call on You, wherever, whenever.  Help us not to worry about the unseen things, but to pray continuously for the faith that we need to carry us through.. Are you battling with the strongholds of this earth? Let us pray to God to renew our hearts our minds and our faith. We will then be able to rid ourselves of these strongholds.

Thank you for your strength! You are the mighty One that is able to set us free from the strongholds of this earth. Please renew our minds so that we may think clearly and see that many things in this world are holding us back from fully committing to you. We praise You and lift You up! In Jesus name, Amen

We must remember that all the planning, purchasing & putting away are temporary, and that Jesus' coming is soon.  So let us pray that our hearts and our minds are prepared for His coming.

Healthy Eating: Roasted Vegetable Pizza

Try this for lunch today!

• 1 medium eggplant, peeled and cubed
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 medium zucchini, sliced
• 1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes $
• 1 onion, peeled and cut into eighths $
• 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1/4 cup olive oil $
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1/2 (16-oz.) package whole wheat prebaked pizza crusts
• 1 teaspoon olive oil $
• 1/3 cup shaved Asiago cheese

Preparation

1. 1. Sprinkle eggplant with salt, and let stand 30 minutes. Pat dry.
2. 2. Preheat oven to 400°. Toss together eggplant, zucchini, and next 6 ingredients, and arrange in a single layer in 2 aluminum foil-lined 15- x 10-inch jelly-roll pans.
3. 3. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender and golden brown. Season with salt to taste.
4. 4. Place crust on a baking sheet. Brush crust with 1 tsp. olive oil. Top with 2 cups roasted vegetables; reserve remaining vegetables for another use. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until crust is crisp and cheese is melted.    Source
