Verse of the day: 1Thessalonians 5:1-3

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

God is coming very soon whether we want Him to or not, It's up to us to be ready for Him when he comes.  God says we do not know the day or the hour, But what we do know is that He will be coming unexpectedly and those who do not watch & believe will be caught off guard.  Let us not be one of those who are caught of guard. As we watch for the signs and get ready for his coming, let us pray that we put away all our sinful ways and turn fully to Him.

Let us pray

Dear Jesus

We thank you for your promise that you will be coming soon.  Help us to realize that you put us on this earth to do good.  Help us to do what is right in your sight and to prepare diligently for your coming.  We ask for strength to carry on your work diligently as it is tough out in this world to stay focused.  We give you praise and honor.  In Jesus name Amen

Verse of the day: Proverbs 21:21

"Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor."

Let us ask God to guide us as we pursue Him daily and seek out righteousness and love.

Let us pray

Dear Jesus

Thank you so much for giving us another chance at life.  Thank you for your son that has died on the cross to save us from our sins.  Lord, we ask today for your guidance as we reach towards righteousness and love.  Help us to only seek out the things in life that are lovely, pure and true.  Help us to be kind, loving and positive to others.  You are our light and our salvation and we praise your name.  In Jesus name, Amen

Verse of the day: Luke 6:38

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Sometimes we get so caught up in our everyday lives that we don't stop to consider that we should take a portion of what we have, whether it be food, clothing or money, and donate them to those who need them the most.  God encourages us to give, and rightfully so, He allowed us to have the things we do, so why not give to those who don't?  Let us pray for a giving heart.

Let us pray

Dear Jesus

Thank you for the things you have given to us.  We are so privileged and we are eternally grateful.  Lord today we ask that you will help us to have more of a giving heart.  Help us to realize there are so many people out there who don't have what we do, so help us not to look down on them but to give so that they may benefit.  Thank you Lord for your mercies.  In Jesus name, Amen

Verse of the day: Proverbs 2:10-11

For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

If you turn your hearts and your mind towards God then in turn He will reward you with wisdom and knowledge.  Let us pray for the Lord to guide our hearts and minds towards Him, forsaking all others and following only Him.

Let us pray

Dear Jesus

Thank you for giving  us the power of knowledge and for showing us that all we needed to get that is by following you and your word.  Help us to understand that your love for us is real and that we just need to turn our hearts and our minds fully to you.  In turn, we may partake of all the blessings you have in store for us!  In Jesus name, Amen

Verse of the day: 1 Chronicles 16:11,12

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.12 Remember the wonders he has done,  his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,

God is our refuge and strength, let us always remember to seek him first before trying to tackle our own issues.  He has done so many wondrous things.  Let us pray that we will always remember to ask God first.

Let us pray:

Dear Jesus

Thank you for your love and strength.  Thank you for your blessings and the many miracles you have performed.  Help us to remember that before we try to tackle and solve our own issues, that we should seek you first for you know what is best.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Verse of the Day: 2 Corinthians 6:1,2

As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says,
“In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”[a]
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Let us not ignore the word of God when it is heard.  God hears our cries and speaks to us through his word, he helps us along even when we are too busy to realize.  Let us pray that our eyes are always open to see the favors and grace God has given to us.

Let us Pray

Dear Jesus

Thank you for giving us a chance at life.  Thank you for your word and the promises you give to us through those words.  We pray that your messages through your word, be received with an open mind and heart and that we will be grateful for the favors you have bestowed on us.  In Jesus Name, Amen
